Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore (part of The HEINEKEN Company) warmly welcomes Reinoud Ottervanger to the Home of Tiger as Managing Director, effective from August 2023.
Reinoud takes over the role from Andy Hewson, who has moved on to a new role with HEINEKEN Cambodia and will report to Kenneth Choo, Managing Director of HEINEKEN Asia Pacific. As Managing Director of HEINEKEN Singapore’s operating company, Reinoud is responsible for the overall management of APB Singapore’s strategic and operational functions, covering sales and marketing, finance, manufacturing, supply chain, human resources and corporate affairs.
Reinoud brings with him a rich 16-year experience with HEINEKEN where he honed his positively energising leadership style with a passion for driving results and progress as well as a genuine care for people development and sustainability.
Prior to joining APB Singapore, Reinoud was the Managing Director of Surinaamse Brouwerij, a HEINEKEN subsidiary based in Suriname, South America for over 3 years where he laid a robust foundation for the future by transforming the company into a multi-beverage business with successful innovations such as Heineken 0.0, Parbo Soda Water and a solid distribution partnership with Diageo.
Before that, he also held various commercial positions withing the HEINEKEN group including HEINEKEN Vietnam and HEINEKEN Netherlands. He has lived, studied and worked across the world including USA, Belgium, China and Nigeria.
