SINGAPORE [22 May 2025] Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore (part of The HEINEKEN Company) warmly
welcomes Anca Olteanu as its new Managing Director, effective May 2025. She succeeds Reinoud
Ottervanger, who has relocated back to the Netherlands due to unforeseen personal circumstances within
his family, but will continue his journey within the HEINEKEN group. Anca will report to Kenneth Choo,
Regional Managing Director, HEINEKEN Asia Pacific.
Anca brings a solid background in commercial and operational excellence to Singapore. Most recently, Anca served as Managing Director of HEINEKEN Bahamas (CBL) for three years, where she led the business to its highest operating profit levels since 2017. This performance was driven by strong growth in local beer brands, innovation in the Ready to Drink segment, and strengthened strategic partnerships across hotel and retail channels. With Anca’s breadth of global experience and strong track record, she will lead APBS into its next chapter of growth.
Anca first joined HEINEKEN in 2019 as Strategic Sourcing Director for Global Packaging, where she managed a €4 billion supply strategy across four regions. In this role, she secured critical capacity in tight market conditions and implemented sustainability-led sourcing strategies.
Before joining HEINEKEN, Anca held senior procurement leadership roles in private equity-backed multinationals and FMCG companies, including Danone, Kraft Heinz, and Procter & Gamble.
Anca holds a degree in Law and a master’s degree in Business Management from the Economic Studies Academy of Bucharest, along with certifications in International Business Management from the International Institute for Management Development in Switzerland.
