APB Singapore (then known as Malayan Breweries) was founded in 1931 by Fraser & Neave (F&N) and HEINEKEN. It was then the largest commercial brewery in the Malayan Peninsula and a landmark achievement in the history of Singapore. The launch of Tiger Beer was headlined by The Straits Times, Singapore’s national English daily, on 30 September 1932 as “A Wonderful Achievement, New Industry for Singapore. The Advent of Tiger Beer”.
APB Singapore has since established more than 80 years of brewing excellence, leveraging the tropical lagering process, which has enabled us to brew consistently high quality and great tasting beers on our sunny island. APB Singapore now boasts a portfolio of beers that goes beyond the iconic Tiger Beer which is now available in over 75 markets globally.
